Hockey - Boys V

Exeter hockey has proven to be one of the strongest programs in all of New England. Big Red is a fixture in the prep school playoff picture at season's end. After their time on the ice here on campus, the boys hockey program consistently see's former Big Red stars move on to successful collegiate and professional careers on the ice.

Christian Maro and Dryden Dervish had two goals apiece. Other goal scorers were Johnny Johannson and Beau Elson. Michael Salvatore was rock solid in net making 24 saves as Big Red to a 6-1 season opening victory.

Riley Piersimoni broke a scoreless tie with eight minutes left in third period to lift Big Red to a 1-0 victory on the road at NYA. Piersimoni found the back of the net off a terrific feed from Christian Maro as Big Red improves to 2-0-0 on the young season. Once again, Michael Salvatore was outstanding in goal, kicking away 35 NYA shots.
