Academics

We love to learn.

A Global History of Witchcraft. Accelerated Arabic. Asian American History and Literature. And that’s just the “A”s. Our Courses of Instruction book is filled with boundless opportunities. Exeter’s curriculum and diploma requirements seek to balance breadth and depth, offering something for everyone while also allowing a student to dig into their strongest interests.

At the heart of it all is Harkness, our signature philosophy of learning collaboratively through the sharing of ideas. Discussions at the Harkness table foster an intellectual curiosity that extends well beyond the Exeter experience. The result is a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
