Am I Eligible for Financial Aid?

We provide $25 million in assistance annually in the form of outright grants. No loans, nothing to pay back. And we assist with supplemental costs – like books, laptops and travel.

For families with incomes under $75,000, Exeter is free. We pick up the cost of tuition, books and academic supplies, and we provide a stipend toward the purchase of a computer. We’re committed to making Exeter affordable for families from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds.

We meet 100 percent of our admitted students’ demonstrated financial need.

Should I Apply for Aid?

Our answer is simple: If you feel that you’ll need assistance to attend Exeter, we encourage you to apply.

We know that some families hesitate to apply for various reasons, including the paperwork involved in the process, or fear that a child’s hopes will be raised but no aid offered. We encourage you to apply, and we’re here to support you throughout the process. Learn how to apply for financial aid.

Families who anticipate needing financial aid at any time during their child’s years at Exeter should request aid when they apply. Financial aid may not be available in subsequent years unless there’s been a significant change in a family’s financial circumstances.
