Melyssa Woods Ventresca

Biography

Ms. Woods Ventresca joins the Academy in 2022 after previously serving as an Athletic Academic Coordinator at UMass Lowell and Admissions Counselor at Western Michigan University. Her experience supporting students and families in those roles make her a great fit for the operations of the College Counseling Office. 

Originally from Glens Falls, New York, Ms. Woods Ventresca attended the University of New Hampshire where she majored in psychology. At UNH, she was a standout member of the Division I Field Hockey Team, making the NCAA tournament twice. Upon graduation, she earned her M.Ed. in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Vermont while working as an assistant field hockey coach.

Ms. Woods Ventresca currently resides in Derry, New Hampshire with her husband and young son. In her free time, she likes spending time with family and hitting up all the local ice cream spots.
