REL470: The Bible As Literature

Students often discover that knowledge of the Bible is essential background for the study of literature, music, art, history and many other subjects. This course, designed for those who have little or no familiarity with the Bible, gives students a knowledge of biblical narratives and characters, and an understanding of the larger themes that have made the Bible the greatest "best-seller" of all time and a major influence on every aspect of Western culture.
