Leanne Chauvette, Institute Director
Phillips Exeter Academy
Leanne is the academic technology coordinator for Phillips Exeter Academy, where she focuses on integrating digital tools and resources into the Harkness model of teaching and learning. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in education. In her role, Leanne works with educators on effectively incorporating technology into their curriculum to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Prior to working at PEA, she spent 26 years in public education, working as both an elementary classroom teacher and a K-12 digital learning specialist. In recent years, she has dedicated significant time to exploring the evolving role of artificial intelligence in education. Her work includes ongoing learning, participating in policy discussions, and hands-on experimentation. Together with a colleague they started a Student AI Group and continue to lead faculty training initiatives to help educators navigate and thrive in the AI-enhanced educational landscape.
