This conference brings together educators to explore the evolving role of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning. Participants will strengthen their own AI literacy while gaining strategies to help students build the skills they need to use AI thoughtfully and responsibly.
Exeter’s Harkness philosophy will be examined as a way to develop the critical thinking and communication skills needed to engage with this rapidly evolving technology and navigate complexity and uncertainty with intellectual agility. Sessions will include hands-on exploration of practical classroom applications, as well as opportunities to rethink assessment in an AI-enabled world. In addition, educators will have time to share experiences and exchange ideas with colleagues from other schools. Together, we’ll create a space to learn, experiment, and shape the future of education with AI.
All participants are also invited to attend the featured speakers series throughout the week. A typical conference schedule includes:
- Morning sessions from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Afternoon sessions from 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Optional evening events: 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
