Biography

Kaitlyn Martin Fox grew up in Abilene, Texas. She earned a B.A. in Religion and English from Hardin-Simmons University and a master’s degree in Theological Studies from Boston University, where she graduated as valedictorian of her class. She continued her graduate work in the Department of Religion at Boston University where she is currently completing her doctorate. Her dissertation analyzes three novels commonly taught in U.S. public schools to better understand the cultural narratives many Americans tell and teach about religion, race, history and collective memory. At BU, Ms. Martin Fox served as a teaching fellow in religious studies, taught courses in the writing program, and was a graduate teaching consultant for BU’s center for teaching and learning.

Ms. Martin Fox enjoys biking, hiking, watercolor painting, and watching lots of movies and television shows.
