Biography

Kaitlyn Martin Fox grew up in Abilene, Texas. She double-majored in Religion and English at Hardin-Simmons University, graduated valedictorian of her class with an M.T.S. from Boston University School of Theology, and earned a Ph.D. from Boston University Graduate Program in Religion. Before coming to Exeter, Dr. Martin Fox served as a teaching fellow in religious studies, taught courses in the BU Writing Program, and was a graduate teaching consultant for BU’s Center for Teaching and Learning. In addition to teaching in the Religion Department, Dr. Martin Fox draws on her background in performing arts to direct and choreograph in Exeter’s Theater Department. She also advises EASA and is a recipient of PEA’s new teacher award.
 
Dr. Martin Fox enjoys biking, hiking, backpacking, playing guitar, gardening, and watching lots of movies and television shows with her partner Blake and dog Brigsby.
