I’ll feel I’ve done my job well if they treat their own ideas and those of their classmates with care and respect; if they look for evidence and remain open to shifting perspectives; and if they feel comfortable taking creative and intellectual risks. Beyond that, I hope they’ll leave feeling that they have one more adult in their corner.”
