This sequence of courses is offered fall (BIO210), winter (BIO220) and spring (BIO230). Biology 210 introduces cell structure and function leading to a study of human anatomy and physiology. Basic physical and chemical principles critical to cell structure and function are also studied. Biology 220 completes the study of human anatomy and physiology. The remainder of the term is devoted to a study of genetics (classical and molecular), nucleic acids and evolution. Biology 230 surveys the various kingdoms of living organisms and ecology.
