E2: Explore Exeter - Phillips Exeter Academy

Nominate a student to explore Exeter.

Phillips Exeter Academy invites educators and counselors to nominate students for the E²: Explore Exeter Fly-In Program held November 12-13, 2026.

The E² program offers motivated underrepresented students and their families an opportunity to experience life at Exeter and gain insight into what the boarding school experience entails.

Over the course of two days, students and a parent or guardian will explore our academics, athletics, residential life and extracurricular activities.

All expenses for students selected to participate in E² will be covered by Exeter including transportation and lodging for both the student and one parent or guardian.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the program, students should meet the following criteria:

Identify as a member of a historically underrepresented group
Intend to apply for financial aid
Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory
Be entering 9th or 10th grade in fall 2027
Have not been to campus or planning to visit campus
Have a strong academic record (primarily As or equivalent)
Demonstrate a passion for learning, leadership skills, strong character, and a commitment to their community
