Current staff and administrator roles
Phillips Exeter Academy has a variety of openings for staff and administrative positions.

Competitive Compensation and Benefits
Exeter’s compensation and benefits packages are highly competitive. We offer many additions to the benefits below, including certified financial planning, chronic condition management, identity theft insurance, and free meals in the school dining halls during work hours.
Eligible employees receive:
- Retirement: A defined contribution retirement plan to which the Academy contributes 9% of salary until age 50, then 12% of salary for employees 50+ or whose salary exceeds the IRS step rate.
- Paid time off: Sixteen paid holidays, up to five weeks of vacation, generous paid personal/sick leave and time off for jury duty, bereavement leave, military leave and family and medical leave. We offer flexible summer work hours and additional paid time off for community service.
- Academy tuition benefits: Free day-student tuition is offered to benefits-eligible employees whose children qualify for admission to the Academy. This benefit is prorated for employees who work between 1,000 and 1,560 hours. We also subsidize tuition at an on-site childcare center to support families with young children.
- Medical, Dental and Vision: Exeter offers two comprehensive health plans that cover inpatient, outpatient, mental health services and prescription drugs. The Academy also offers two dental plan options, and a voluntary discount vision benefit. Employees and the Academy share the cost of health, dental and vision plans. The Academy contributes to either a health savings account (HSA) or health reimbursement account (HRA).
I’m proud to be here, and I’m also humbled that I get to be part of a huge tradition like working at Exeter.
