International Students

The first step is working with students who will need an I-20 Form and possibly an F-1 Visa to enter the United States. This pertains to all students that do not have an American passport, other valid U.S. visa which permits study, or U.S. permanent resident status. Newly enrolled students must complete the forms required to obtain the Form I-20 from Exeter. Students will take this form to their visa appointment at their local U.S. Embassy. We will email your Exeter email account in late April with instructions for how to initiate this process. It’s important that you check your Exeter email on a regular basis throughout the summer for important updates. If you have questions, please be in touch: sevis@exeter.edu.

Please note that we do not begin the Form I-20 process until early May, and we ask that you do not submit documents or forms prior to our reaching out and requesting them from you. We are prohibited from issuing initial forms more than 120 days prior to the program start of September 4, 2026. That means the earliest we could issue an I-20 is May 7, 2026.
