Walter Tate

Biography

I grew up in Newburyport, Massachusetts, and joined the Academy in 2013. After spending close to 20 years bridging business and technology initiatives for portfolio management, securities trading and investment administration in the financial services industry, I appreciate having the opportunity to bring new ideas and concepts to the Academy by collaborating and creating solutions to help align people, process and technology while increasing operational effectiveness and philanthropic support.

I graduated from Salem State University and currently live in Kingston, New Hampshire, with my wife, Tamara, a Lynnfield, Massachusetts, fifth-grade school teacher, and my two teenage children, Addison and Sam.
