Deb Bacon

Biography

I grew up in Exeter and have always lived in the Seacoast area. In 1983, I joined the Academy in the Annual Giving Office. Over the years, I continued fundraising for Exeter in both the Capital Giving and Planned Giving offices. From 1998 through 2019 I served as director of Advancement Operations.  In 2019, I was assigned to my current position in Donor Relations, where I serve as a member of the donor relations and stewardship team.  I work closely with internal legal counsel and colleagues in Finance, Advancement Services, and Communications to develop policies and procedural documentation that provide guidance for the Institutional Advancement staff.  I also oversee compliance with internal procedures, audit requirements, Federal regulations, and industry standards.
