About the tournament

The Exeter Association of Washington, DC invites alumni, parents and friends of Exeter to the second annual William H. Bolden Golf Benefit. All funds raised will benefit the William H. Bolden Scholarship Fund, an endowed financial aid fund in honor of Bolden, a D.C. native. Bolden was the Academy's first black faculty member. The fund supports students from inner-city public or parochial schools.

Fee Details

Your registration fee includes breakfast, 18 holes of golf with cart, and awards reception.

  • Individual Player Fee: $185
  • Young Alumni Player Fee (Classes of 2007-2023): $125
  • Young Alumni Foursome Fee (Classes of 2007-2023): $450
  • Reception Only: $75

Support the Scholarship

This scholarship honors William H. Bolden, the first black faculty member at Exeter. The endowed financial aid fund supports students from inner city public or parochial schools.

Proceeds from the golf benefit support the Bolden Scholarship Fund. Those interested in making a donation to the fund can do so online.

Langston Golf Course was the first 18-hole golf course in Washington D.C. to allow black players. The course was built specifically for black golfers during segregation.
