The Big Red Club

Guided strongly by the principle of non sibi, Exeter’s youngest alumni to amaze us with their burgeoning philanthropy. We honor their leadership commitments made in a single fiscal year by granting membership to the Big Red Club in the following three tiers:

  • Alumni 1-5 years out from graduation who give $250 or more
  • Alumni 6-10 years out from graduation who give $1,000 or more
  • Alumni 11-15 years out from graduation who give $1,500 or more

Other Giving Societies and Distinctions

Since Grad Donor Society

We recognize our most devoted alumni donors who have loyally given back each year since graduation. Their steadfast support and generosity embody the values of our founders, John and Elizabeth Phillips.

Lion Rampant Giving Society

We recognize with membership in the Lion Rampant Giving Society all alumni who have loyally supported the Academy with gifts of any size for the last five or more consecutive fiscal years. Their annual contributions are foundational to our mission, and, like our mascot, demonstrate the strength of our community.

Forever R.E.D.

Forever R.E.D. (recurring Exeter donations) celebrates alumni who commit to recurring donations that help the Academy create a reliable source of funding that impacts a new generation of Exonians. Gifts can be set up to be renewed monthly or annually.

Reunion Giving Societies

Every five years after graduation, Exonians are invited back to campus to reconnect and reminisce about their remarkable high school experience. Alumni celebrating a reunion who donate an amount equal to or greater than their reunion year (e.g. $10,000 for a 10th reunion, $25,000 for a 25th reunion) are recognized with membership in a reunion giving society.

Giving Circles

The Heritage Circle

Alumni, family and friends who indicate that they have made provisions for the Academy in their estate or retirement plans are designated members of our Heritage Circle.

Women’s Leadership Circle

The Women’s Leadership Circle offers Exeter women the opportunity to empower girls to bring their voices to the Harkness table, regardless of financial need. With gifts of $50,000 or more, Exeter alumnae will be invited into the Circle. Membership directly contributes to the success of girls at Exeter through scholarships and flexible-use funds and provides members with opportunities to engage with those students.
