The Upper School program offers courses of study for high school students who have completed grades 9-12. As an Upper School student, you have the freedom to design your own academic curriculum. This is your chance to sharpen certain skills, dig deeper into a favorite topic or pursue something totally new. You can choose three classes from a diverse offering of courses in several different disciplines.

All Upper School students may, for a fee, enroll in private music lessons, the SAT prep course, or replace the two sessions of sports with Exeter Rowing Club, Exeter Soccer Club, or Exeter Volleyball Club.

Upper School students can also apply to the Charles J. Hamm ’55 Leadership Program where students learn about leadership and practice core leadership skills like public speaking, goal setting, conflict resolution and group facilitation.

Summer Community
