Investigation, research, risk-taking and drive: VIBE showcases the creative outcomes from a period of highly focused artmaking by Exeter students. The students in ART 500 Portfolio Intensive, ART 690 Capstone Intensive Studio, and Art 999: Art Field Course, engage in an in-depth exploration of art materials and themes while developing their own body of work. Through experimentation, critique, research, self-direction, and many hours in the art studio, these students have explored themes important to them and created the comprehensive works that are part of this exhibition.

Participating Artists: Anika Bhatnagar ’25, Belle Blakemore ’25, Freddie Chang ’25, Anneliese Conine ’25, Willow Foregger ’26, Tallis Guthrie ’25, Steph Handte ’25, Lionel Hearon ’25, Soleil Jamani ’25, Isabella Jin ’25, Anastasia Kvashilava ’25, Isaiah Reese ’25, Minjae Suh ’25, and Tiki Wu ‘25

Art Instructors: Carla Collins, Jihye Han, Heather Hernon, Adam Hosmer, Tim Lawrence, and Tara Lewis.

Special Dates:

May 16 – 30: Exhibit will feature works made by students in Fall and Winter term art courses
May 31-June 8: Spring term works will be added, and the full exhibition will be on view
June 8: Special Graduation Hours for Exeter families, 12-4pm
