Exeter Family Weekend 2026

Exeter Family Weekend is a time for you to join your student on campus to learn more about the Exeter experience, connect with other families, attend classes, and hear from faculty and staff. Campus programming will be offered starting on the morning of Friday, October 23 through noon on Saturday, October 24, followed by athletic events in the afternoon.

There is no Family Weekend programming on Sunday, October 25 and no classes or required appointments on Monday, October 26. You’re encouraged to enjoy the long weekend with your student, though a pass is required through the Orah platform.

We will again be using our Phillips Exeter Events mobile app to share the full program and all Family Weekend information. The app will allow you to find helpful information for navigating campus, build your personalized schedule, and receive key updates throughout the weekend.

Registration will open at the start of the school year. Walk-in registration will be available during the weekend of the event.

    
            
            Weekend Highlights
Hear an Academy update from Principal Jenny Elliott.
Meet with your child’s adviser by appointment.
Attend information sessions and open houses with College Counseling, Global Initiatives, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) and more.
Attend classes and see Harkness learning in action!
Visit open rehearsals for dance, theater and music groups.
Cheer on Big Red during Saturday afternoon’s athletic competitions.
Enjoy a New England weekend with your student. Your student will need to initiate an Orah Pass to leave campus, afterwards you can approve it via your email.


        

Meals

Parents and visitors are welcome to use the dining hall services during Family Weekend. Lines are common this weekend, so please be patient with our amazing dining staff.

Transportation support

Please note that we have transportation available after Family Weekend from Boston’s Logan airport back to campus.
