Holly Oliver Hedeman

Biography

Having lived in the Greater Exeter community for almost 20 years, it was a pleasure to find the opportunity to join Phillips Exeter Academy as regional director of major gifts in the spring of 2017. My diverse background ranges from business development in high tech to executive recruitment in retail to travel consultant, and in many ways, it has all prepared me well for this work. I spent most of my working years in the Bay Area, which I loved, but family ties in the New England area ultimately pulled me across the country, where I settled into the Seacoast area in 2005.

I grew up living all over the United States, as my father got transferred from state to state with work. I graduated from The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, Georgia, and went on to get my Bachelor of Arts from Williams College. While there, I studied abroad in Australia, where I discovered the love of travel. I also love my kids, my dog and my life. I consider myself one of the lucky ones.

As I build my tenure at Phillips Exeter, I find meeting and building relationships with those close to the Academy incredibly rewarding. I look forward to the years ahead and to connecting with many Exonians along the way.
