Curricular Global Learning

Our program in Ghana, introduced in 2013, gives you an option to live and study on a continent that is undergoing incredible development.

You’ll move into an on-campus apartment for the fall at SOS-Hermann Gmeiner International College in the coastal city of Tema. Twenty-percent of students at HGIC are from SOS-run orphanages, with the others coming to the prep school from across Africa, Asia, Europe and the U.S. This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself into a truly international school. You’ll partner with HGIC students on social service projects, explore the local area and culture, and have the chance to travel within Ghana during school break and weekends.
