Ramiro Campos

Associate Director of College Counseling
Ramiro Campos

M.Sc. University of Southern California

B.A. University of California - Riverside

Mr. Campos most recently served as an assistant director in the Office of Admission at the University of Southern California. While at USC, he oversaw the admission cycle for many high schools in California and New England, including Phillips Exeter Academy. As a South Los Angeles native, he had the privilege of working directly with students and families from his community, which has been one of the biggest joys of his career. He is passionate about providing underrepresented students access to higher education and helping them navigate what can be an overwhelming process.

Prior to USC, Mr. Campos worked at the University of Redlands and UCLA. At Redlands, he had the opportunity to lead the university’s international recruitment efforts and recruited students from 12 countries in Latin America, China, Japan and Canada. As the department’s diversity liaison, he worked very closely with the Dean of Diversity and Inclusion to create initiatives to help diversify the student body. At UCLA, he worked in both financial aid and undergraduate admission, where he counseled students from diverse backgrounds, including veterans, transfers, first-generation and traditional college students. Given his experience at various institutions, he has a strong understanding of admission practices and knows the complexities and nuances of the admission process.

Mr. Campos loves to travel, dance, and is (mildly) obsessed with anything Beyoncé. He lives off campus in Manchester.
