Ms. Nemeth has extensive training in fine arts, art history and apparel design and has exhibited her work in several shows in Indiana. While pursuing her MFA in studio art at Indiana University’s School of Art, Architecture and Design, she taught classes and managed the university’s textile studio. As a community artist at several arts centers in Pennsylvania, including the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, she worked with adults and children of all ages — offering courses such as printmaking, plein-air painting and sewing fundamentals. Mary Claire was a member of Columbia University’s rowing team for three years.
