Hannah, whose doctoral degree is in Asian languages and cultures, was a Korean Foundation postdoctoral fellow at the University of California last year. While enrolled at UCLA, she taught courses on the cultural and social history of modern East Asia. Hannah is a member of the Association for Asian Students and the American Historical Association. She participates in STARTalk, a nationwide initiative to promote foreign language learning, providing training and course curriculum creation for other instructors. Hannah speaks Korean, Japanese and classical Chinese, and she enjoys yoga.
