Tuesday Evening Trips

On Tuesday evening, we offer off-campus trips for our participants.  These trips require a reservation as we purchase tickets and plan transportation based on attendee preferences.  When you register for the conference, you will be asked to indicate which trip you would like to attend.  These trips are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.  Payment for the trip is collected at the registration desk.  We accept cash and checks only.  


Trolley Tour of the Seacoast

We have partnered with the Seacoast Trolley Company  of Portsmouth, NH.  Come aboard a trolley for a narrated, fun-filled tour of the Seacoast.   We will stop for dinner at Geno's Chowder and Sandwich Shop , voted "One of the Best on the Seacoast!"  Here you can dine on local favorites such as home-made chowders, lobster rolls, salads and sandwiches!  Geno's, a family-owned establishment since 1965, is a regular stop for visitors from around the world.  The trolley will return to campus at approximately 8:00 p.m.


Baseball Game

Join us this year as we head to Portland, ME!  The Portland Sea Dogs take on the Manchester Fisher Cats.  The game starts at 7:00 p.m.  We'll head to Hadlock Field for a night of great baseball and lots of fun!


Shop Exeter!

Several shops and restaurants in downtown Exeter will provide our conference attendees with special discouts throughout the week.  You will receive information about partipating vendors in your registration packet.  


Boston

Time:  Varies depending on your schedule

Hop aboard the Amtrack Downeaster train and head to Boston.  (If you have your own transportation, it's approximately a 50-minute drive). The train depot is located at Lincoln Street, a 1/4 mile walk from campus.  The train takes you to North Station.  From there, you can plan to visit historic Faneuil Hall Market Place (also known as Quincy Market). Or, follow the Freedom Trail to the North End, where Old North Church and Paul Revere House are located. Or, you can walk to Boston Common and the Public Garden and take a ride on the famous Swan Boats, then stroll down Newbury Street
