Principal Hassan chats with students over fruit-juice pouches
30 minutes isn’t long, but students enjoy the chance to take a breakWarm, sunny weather. A midmorning break from classes. Growing, hungry bodies. What does it all add up to? A great reason to hand out snacks in the quadrangle!
When Exeter temporarily canceled assemblies last week as a precaution against H1N1 spread, the opportunity arose. Principal Tom Hassan came up with the idea to use the 30-minute time slot to let students catch up on calories and socialize.
Students love the cookies and granola bars. Everyone enjoys the chance to spend a few minutes relaxing and getting to know each other.

High jinks and having fun are definitely allowed
