Exeter, NH (July 1, 2009)—The Phillips Exeter Academy Chapter of the Cum Laude Society has elected 63 students this year as members of the academic honor society. The inductees were honored during the spring term of this year. The selection was based on each student’s academic standing in the 310-member class of 2009.

Cum Laude, modeled on the Phi Beta Kappa Society, comprises public high schools and incorporated secondary schools throughout the nation. Exeter’s chapter, the oldest in continuous existence, dates back to the founding of the society in 1907.
