PEA New Hampshire Student Named to the 2009 Junior National Women’s Eight Rowing Team

Exeter, NH (July 14, 2009)—North Hampton, NH, resident Louise N. Breen, a rising senior at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH, will represent the United States at the 2009 International Federation of Rowing Associations’ World Rowing Junior Championship, August 5-8, in Brive-la-Gaillarde, France.

Named as a member of this year’s Junior National Women’s Eight Team, Breen will be among 13 junior crews representing the U.S.; vying for wins in 13 different events, including the men’s and women’s single, double, quadruple, pair, four, four with coxswain, and eight competitions.

Prior to the regatta, Breen and her team members trained in Princeton, NJ, for a couple of weeks before departing to France.
