Paul Sullivan '73 Performs in Library's Summer Concert Series

Exeter, NH (June 23, 2009)—The Friends of the Academy Library of Phillips Exeter Academy will host “An Evening with Paul Sullivan,” on Wednesday, June 24; the first of five concerts of the summer series in Rockefeller Hall, in the Class of 1945 Library, located on Front Street. The event is free and open to the public, and begins at 7 p.m.
Sullivan, a 1973 alumnus of Phillips Exeter Academy, is an accomplished pianist, composer, director, conductor and performer in jazz clubs; on- and off-Broadway theater; and in concert halls throughout the world. He has recorded 14 CDs, and is known for his original compositions that blend jazz and classical styles. Sullivan will perform several original works, old favorites, a few new selections, offer humorous anecdotes about the origins of his music, as well as perform an improvisation.
