Exeter Summer Update on COVID-19

Phillips Exeter Academy has been monitoring COVID-19 closely since late January and continues to rely on the daily updates from the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control. You may review the Academy’s COVID-19 Response

We continue our preparations for Exeter Summer 2020, including our rolling review of new applications. As we continue to assess the impact of COVID-19 in the coming weeks, we will judge whether conditions allow us to safely gather the Exeter Summer 2020 community this July.

If Exeter Summer 2020 goes ahead as planned but parents decide COVID-19 impacts the ability of their child to attend, parents may withdraw their child and receive a full refund of all monies previously paid (deposit and tuition) if they contact our office by June 1.

If concerns about health and safety cause us to cancel the program for 2020, we will contact by email all who have registered and we will post that change here. All monies (deposit and tuition) previously paid will be refunded. Parents may ask that their child’s place be held for 2021, as long as next year’s transcript reveals a similarly good record.

We are looking forward to and planning for another great Exeter Summer. Return here for future updates. In the meanwhile, take care and be well.
