Biography

Born and raised in Presque Isle, Maine, among the “tater” fields of Aroostook County, my childhood revolved around family, school, athletics, tap, ballet and piano lessons and endless hours of jumping on our trampoline. Life was grand! I always enjoyed learning and was very happy to be able to attend college at the alma mater of my father and four older siblings. A family tradition, so to say. Three months after graduation, I was hired at my old high school as the Computer Aide, where I monitored a room of 50 IBM machines and helped students with any issues they encountered. During that time, I was also an assistant track and field coach, as I had the experience of being a top 10 Class A hurdler and long jumper in the state of Maine, while in high school.

As the years passed, I went back to school for various courses to hone my skills. Then, on a very scary whim, decided to uproot to Seabrook, New Hampshire, staying with a brother as I looked for a new career opportunity. One evening, a year after searching, a call came from Phillips Exeter Academy…

That call took place in 2002, the year I accepted my position here and moved to Exeter. As the Reporting Specialist for Advancement Operations/IA, I am responsible for querying the database and delivering timely, accurate data files to my colleagues across campus, along with preparing weekly and month-end financial documents. Additionally, I fulfill requests to create new, self-service reports that are available at any time using Informer or Reeher.
