Meet the Team

Michelle Curtin

I joined the Alumni and Parent Relations team in 2008. After earning a master’s degree in Education at Suffolk University, I worked for several years in higher education as an academic counselor, engaging with students one on one and teaching freshman seminar courses. I am passionate about the educational experience. Working in Exeter's Office of Institutional Advancement has allowed me to expand my understanding of the educational experience and discover the impact it can have on students’ lives long after they have graduated.

I grew up in Southern Maine and attended Gould Academy for high school. The four years I spent at a boarding school were transformational and ultimately led me to a career in independent schools. While at Gould, I participated in a number of clubs, including Gold Key, which was a student volunteer group that worked with the Alumni Office. After graduation, as a way to give back to the school I love, I served on the Gould Alumni Board from 2012 to 2018.

Ann Lockwood

I grew up on the Exeter campus as a “fac brat,” the youngest child of Nancy and John Warren (instructor in mathematics, emeritus 1985). Having spent my childhood here, I hoped to go away to school as some of my brothers had. Thankfully, my parents would hear nothing of that idea. In the fall of 1977, I began a new chapter in my association with Exeter — first as a student, then as an alumna and volunteer, and now as director of alumni and parent relations. It is an honor to serve the Academy, and our alumni and parents, in this role.

Dawn Perkins

My road to Exeter was paved by business, tradition and family.

Jan Woodford

I grew up locally and spent a lot of free time in Exeter as a teenager. The Ioka and Friendly’s were favorite hangouts. I commuted to UNH from home and was fortunate to be able to spend many hours in the Academy library studying and meeting students from around the world.
